The short version
This site is funded by affiliate commission. When you follow certain outbound links and later subscribe, the operator pays us a share. You pay the same price you would pay by typing the address into your browser.
That is the entire business model. There are no ads, no paid listings, no newsletter sponsorships and nothing behind a paywall.
How to tell which links pay
Assume every outbound link to a listed tool may be commercial. Rather than tag some links and leave you guessing about the rest, we treat the whole outbound set the same way: every one carries rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page source and opens in a new tab.
Internal links — to a review, a category or a page like this one — never pay anything.
What commission does not buy
- It does not buy a listing. Tools are added on merit and several listed here have no programme at all.
- It does not buy position. Ranking is set before commercial terms are examined.
- It does not buy tone. Reviews say what went wrong, and the criticism stays in when a link is commercial.
- It does not buy silence. A product that gets worse gets rewritten or removed.
Why we say so
Disclosure is required of us — the FTC's endorsement guides in the United States and consumer protection rules across the EU and the United Kingdom all demand that a material connection be stated clearly. We would state it anyway. A recommendation whose incentives are hidden is worth nothing to the person reading it.
