Copyright and takedown

How to get something removed from this site, and what we need from you to act on it.

What is hosted here

This site hosts its own written reviews and category text, plus a small number of screenshots used to illustrate them. It hosts no user uploads, no galleries and no media supplied by third parties, which means most takedown requests about material found through a link belong with the operator of that destination, not with us.

If the material is on one of our pages, it is ours to remove, and the process below applies.

Filing a notice

Send notices to admin@interactiveporn.net with "DMCA" in the subject line. To be actionable under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), a notice must include all of the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature, as the owner of the right or someone authorised to act for them.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
  • The exact URL on this site where the material appears, precise enough for us to locate it.
  • Your address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act.

An incomplete notice slows everything down. A notice sent in bad faith carries liability for damages under § 512(f), including costs and legal fees.

What happens next

Valid notices are acted on promptly, normally within a few business days. Material that is clearly infringing comes down first and gets discussed afterwards. We will tell you what we removed.

If you believe material was removed in error, send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, identification of what was removed and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.

Non-consensual intimate imagery

This is not a copyright matter and it is not handled on a copyright timetable. If you appear in intimate imagery published without your consent anywhere on this site, email the address above and say so. It comes down on sight, before any verification, and we ask questions afterwards.

You do not need to own the copyright, prove your identity first, or fill in a form. Requests from someone acting on the person's behalf are treated the same way.

Repeat infringement

A listed tool that repeatedly generates or distributes infringing or non-consensual material is removed from the directory entirely, and the affiliate relationship, if there is one, ends with it.
