An AI girlfriend costs between $5 and roughly $25 a month for an entry plan paid one month at a time, and most sites sit between $10 and $20. On most of them that buys unlimited text. Images, voice and video are charged separately in tokens on 22 of the 26 sites we reviewed, and advertised prices as low as $3.99 a month need a year paid up front.
Every AI companion site puts one number on its pricing page, and that number is rarely what a month of normal use costs. Read one review and this looks like a quirk of one product. Read all 26 of the AI girlfriend sites in our directory side by side and it turns out to be the way the whole category bills.
The figures below are the ones recorded in our reviews between August and October 2026. Offers move, so use them to understand the structure and check the payment screen for the amount.
Subscription plus tokens: most sites charge twice
Twenty-two of the 26 run a private currency on top of the subscription. The names change from site to site: DreamCoins on OurDream AI, Gems on Promptchan, Luna on HeraHaven, Hearts on Swipey AI, Moments on Secrets AI. The job is always the same. The subscription opens the door, and the currency pays for images, voice and video once you are inside.
Three sites have no second currency at all: SpicyChat AI, PornJourney and AIGirlfriends.ai. SpicyChat is the plainest of them, with three flat tiers at $5, $14.95 and $24.95 a month. Features unlock by tier and nothing is metered. The last of the 26, Nectar AI, keeps its pricing page behind a login, so we cannot say which camp it belongs to.
What an AI girlfriend subscription includes
On twelve of the sites a paid plan means unlimited text, with everything else still metered. That is the standard deal, and for someone who only wants to talk it is a fair one.
The exceptions run in both directions. Secrets AI does not charge for text on any tier, the free one included. At the other end, three sites meter the conversation itself even when you pay. MyDreamBoy takes half a credit for each direct message, SoulGen takes 0.2 of a credit, and the first two paid tiers of Girlfriend GPT stop at 5,000 and 20,000 messages a month.
How far the monthly tokens go
Most plans include a monthly allowance of the currency. The number to look for is the allowance divided by the price of the thing you came to do.
- eHentai AI and DreamGF both include 100 tokens a month, and an image costs 10. That is ten images.
- OurDream AI's Premium plan includes 1,000 DreamCoins. Video costs 100 for five seconds and a voice call costs 50 a minute, so the allowance is fifty seconds of video or twenty minutes of calls, and not both.
- Erogen AI gives 1,000 credits on its Silver plan and charges 50 a minute for phone calls, which again comes to twenty minutes.
- Fanfinity AI includes up to 150 coins, and a five-second clip costs 30. That is five clips.
- The allowance on Get Honey AI is commonly cited at around 100 coins, and a live voice call costs 30 a minute. That is a little over three minutes.
Someone who mostly types will never notice any of this. Someone who came for voice or video reaches the limit in the first week, and the reviews say so: eleven of them list a fast-draining allowance among the cons.
Top-ups are sold separately. On four sites (OurDream AI, Lovescape, eHentai AI and DreamGF) only an active subscriber is allowed to buy them, so the currency cannot be used as a way around the subscription. HeraHaven is one of the few that publishes pack prices, from $10.95 for 200 Luna to $99.95 for 3,600.
Why the advertised monthly price is an annual plan
Six sites advertise a monthly figure that only exists if you pay for a year in one go.
- Candy AI: $3.99 a month on the twelve-month plan, $13.99 if you pay monthly.
- Fanfinity AI: $5.99 a month, billed as $71.88. Paying monthly costs $14.99.
- HeraHaven: $6.65 a month, billed as $79.80. Paying monthly costs $19.95.
- Xeve.ai: $7.09 a month on yearly billing, $12.99 if you pay monthly.
- HeyGF: $8.33 a month on the annual plan, $9.99 if you pay monthly. The pricing page opens on the annual tab.
- OurDream AI: $9.99 a month, billed as $119.88. Paying monthly costs $19.99.
The real month-to-month rate is between 1.2 and 3.5 times the advertised one. Our own listings show the "from" price that each site advertises, so the same caveat applies to the price column in the directory.
An annual plan is not a trick if you use the product for a year. It is a poor first purchase for a product you have not yet used for a week.
Intro prices and trials that renew higher
A second pattern does the same work over a shorter span. eHentai AI and DreamGF print identical price tables, in which a first payment of $12.99 is followed by $25.99 a month. Our DreamGF review says it directly: the first payment is the hook, and the recurring rate is the one to budget against. Get Honey AI's introductory month was reported at around $24.99, renewing at around $49.99.
Trials can convert as well. AI Allure sells a 24-hour trial for 1.99 in your local currency that rolls into the monthly plan unless you cancel. The monthly plan on JustSext begins with thirty free days and then charges $11.
What a free AI girlfriend tier includes
The range is wider than the word suggests.
- Get Honey AI: nothing. The first message you try to send meets the paywall.
- Candy AI: five messages in total across all characters, and one image.
- eHentai AI and DreamGF: ten messages a day, rising by one for each consecutive day up to fifty, and back to ten if you miss a day.
- Erogen AI: roughly 600 messages a day, released 75 at a time every three hours.
- SpicyChat AI: unlimited text. You pay in other ways, with a queue at peak hours, adverts and a shorter memory.
Images on a free tier are blurred on five sites, Candy AI among them, and watermarked on Girlfriend GPT. Thirteen of the 26 let you start without a card. One, AIGirlfriends.ai, declines to publish its free limits at all.
Refunds, expiry and billing names
Four details are worth a minute each.
- Rollover. OurDream AI's coins do not carry over to the next month. Lovescape's chips and Erogen AI's credits never expire.
- Refunds. Only three reviews found actual terms. eHentai AI and DreamGF refuse a refund once anything has been used. HeraHaven refunds in full within 24 hours, provided you have spent no more than 20 Luna.
- Dormant accounts. eHentai AI can apply a $1.99 monthly maintenance charge to a previously paid account that stays open without an active membership.
- The name on the statement. Twelve sites promise discreet billing and seven say what the line will read. Candy AI bills as EverAI, Secrets AI as S LABS INC and JustSext as STXT.AI.
Cancelling can have a deadline of its own. PornJourney asks for at least 48 hours before the renewal date.
What to check before you pay
Four questions cover nearly all of the above. What does the plan cost if I pay for one month only? What is the currency called, how much of it comes with the plan, and what does the feature I want cost in it? Does an unused balance carry over? What does the plan renew at, and where is the cancel button?
If text is all you want, the category is cheap and sometimes free, and SpicyChat AI's free tier is the place to find out whether you like it. If you want voice and video, price the allowance before you price the plan, because the allowance is where the money goes.
